At Ballyhane we always have a good selection of breeding stock for sale. If we aim to offer breeders commercially attractive stallions at value prices, then the same goes for the rest of our stock. We always try to have a range of fillies and mares here that will suit most tastes for anyone looking to buy outside the sales season, or away from the pressure of the sales. We turn over a good number each year, and at prices that leave plenty of room for profit.

As an example Blue Glass was bought as a filly out of training for a mere 1100 guineas at Tattersalls in 1999. We sold her privately the following year to a long standing client, in foal to Imperial Ballet. The colt she was carrying at the time realised E100,000 as a yearling at Goffs last year.
